Stainless steel fire sandbox overview

The stainless steel fire sandbox is specially designed for early firefighting. It is used to store dry fire sand and quickly cover oil, chemical leakage or small fire source. The box body is welded and formed with 201/304 stainless steel, with an internal capacity of 1m ³ and a load-bearing capacity of 1400-1500kg. The top is equipped with a rainproof cover plate, and the bottom is reserved for drainage holes to avoid the accumulation of rainwater. It is suitable for flammable and explosive places such as gas stations, chemical plants, laboratories, etc.

1. Corrosion-resistant structure

• 304 stainless steel models are resistant to oil stains, acid and alkali corrosion, and 201 models need to be sprayed with anti-rust oil regularly (recommended once a quarter).
• Welding seam polishing treatment, no burr scratches, the operator.

2. Heavy-duty load-bearing design

• The bottom of the box is thickened to 1.0mm, supporting 1400-1500kg of fine sand, and the deformation under full load conditions is less than 2mm.
• Triangular reinforcement of four corner columns to prevent overturning during handling or earthquakes.

3. Convenient operation

• The top cover can be turned 90 °, and a built-in dust-proof sealing strip prevents sand particles from agglomerating due to moisture.
• Side setting sand mouth (height 30cm), single operation without tools.

4. Environmental adaptation

• Optional UV protection coating for outdoor models (anti-fading grade 5), resistant to sun and rain.
• Raise the bottom 10cm to prevent the ground from being eroded by water.

Q1: Does the fire need to be replaced regularly?

• It is recommended to check every 6 months and replace it when there is moisture agglomeration or excessive impurities (standard sand particle size 0.5-2 mm).

Q2: Can the box directly contact strong acids and alkalis?

• 304 models can tolerate weak acids and alkalis (pH 5-9).

Q3: How to deal with the blockage of sand intake?

• Use a thin stick to gently poke to dredge to avoid hard objects hitting the box (201 models are easy to deform).

Q4: Can the sandbox be moved after it is fully loaded?

• A forklift or hydraulic truck (with a fork cog reserved at the bottom) is required, and human propulsion is prohibited.

Q5: Does outdoor use require additional protection?

• 304 models can be used directly in the open air, and 201 models need to be equipped with a rain shed.
